Casa Lionardo

Beautiful position not overlooked and easy access to Vinci.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in diesem besonderen Ferienhaus. Es ist ein einzigartiges Erlebnis, in einer ehemaligen Schule zu übernachten, die so stilsicher eingerichtet ist. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig für vier Personen, die Betten sind angenehm und auch die Badezimmer super. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und der Garten mit Pool perfekt nutzbar. Zudem gibt es praktische Extras wie einen überdachten Sitzplatz und einen Grill. Der Ausblick ist atemberaubend. Toll ist auch die Lage ohne Nachbarn und der Blick auf das Geburtshaus von Leonardo da Vinci. Ein besonderes Dankeschön an die Verwalterin Vera, die uns herzlich empfangen hat, sehr freundlich war und tolle Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben hat. In der Nähe gibt es viele Weingüter und hervorragende Restaurants. Kleiner Tipp: Der überdachte Sitzplatz schützt sehr gut vor Sonne - vielleicht könnte man ihn so gestalten, dass er auch vor Regen schützt. Insgesamt war es ein perfekter Urlaub. We had a lovely short break at Casa Lionardo. The rooms are much bigger than the photos suggested and the air conditioning was very welcome given the recent hot weather. Many thanks also to Vera for all her help.

With stunning views across Tuscany, this beautiful house has been lovingly restored to preserve its history while providing everything that holidaymakers need. Located just outside Vinci, it was a great base to explore Sienna, Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Pistoia and smaller local towns. The outdoor pool and inside air conditioning were both very welcome in early September, when it was still very hot (30C+), while the huge TV and fast internet connection kept us online for work, when needed, and our teenager entertained. When a massive thunderstorm caused a couple of minor issues, Linda was on hand immediately via WhatsApp and in-person to resolve them. The high quality of the property and the personal service were the reasons why we booked through Posarelli Villas, who we would use again and recommend.

We stayed for our honeymoon in September 2023. What a stay it was. The Vila is stunning, and the views and just spectacular. We spent many of evening out on the terrace watching the sunset and having a glass of wine. The sunset is such a beautiful background each evening. We spent a day sunbathing and taking a dip in the plunge pool. The villa itself is amazing and so well maintained. The bedrooms were amazing and the living room is vast there is so much space. The local area is great, however we would highly recommend hiring a car. We saw so much of Tuscany and it's beauty. I highly recommend Casa Leonardo and cannot wait to be back for our anniversary.

Lovely, quiet area! Enjoyed our stay very much.

We had a very relaxing stay at Casa Lionardo. The house is very well located in the beauitiful Tuscan hills. The views from every window were outstanding. The a/c worked like a dream and we were welcomed everytime we returned with a lovely cool home. The bedrooms were perfect for our family. Two large bedrooms with their own en-suite, one double and one twin. The living area is spacious. We found the kitchen a bit small, and it took a while to get used to the washing machine being in the garden.
The house appears to have been purposed built around the cultural aspect of Leonardo Da Vinci. Absolutely beautiful and could be better suited to two mature couples using it as a base than a family. We found that there was no flow between the main house and the pool which is at the back side of the house. Manuela was very helpful and friendly with us at check in. I was concerned about the alarm sensors / cameras in the bedrooms and the main living area. Manuela assured me that they were not on in the bedrooms. From my understanding of these things she was right as none of the lights in the bedroom came on when walking infront of the sensors. However, you might want to check the main living area, and also the cameras oustide above the pool and the sides of the house. These appear to have been on as they were shining red and green at night time. The 8 chairs around the table under the gazebo had no cushions which we found very suprising as the garden set is beautiful. We went to the local garden centre and bought cushions for the 8 chairs which made the chairs a whole lot more comfortable. We left these at the house for the next guests.
Overall it was a lovely stay, and we all enjoyed ourselves. Vinci is a beautiful place to visit and very close to many attractions.

Property exceeded our expectations. Quiet but near to locations like Florence, Pisa, Lucca, etc. Low stress and beautiful views.

Wonderful villa in Vinci. The house is newly renovated and in excellent condition, the interiour is cozy and nice. The view is incredibly beautiful, you can see olive trees and Leonardo Da Vinci's birthplace. The villa has interesting books and art. The yard, with a small pool and terrace, is perfect for sunbathing and dining outside. We loved sitting on the terrace, watching the sun set and enjoying a glass of local wine. We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay at Casa Lionardo.
